Here comes silence, quiet
speaking
From the hallway, violent
creeping
In the shadows, hear me
weeping
Through the door, it wants me
bleeding
Closer coming, pretend I'm
sleeping
Feel his wrath, stare at the
ceiling
From this pain there is no
pleading
It's almost over, his sweat is
beading
His breath on me, repulsive
reeking
In this bed, my body
grieving
He gets up, quietly
heaving
Stares at me, his mind
scheming
What have I done, in my head I'm
screaming
Quiet mouth, my life
deceiving
In my life, you should be
leading
Me from danger, but you're who's
sneaking
Me this torment, from you
leak
I look in the mirror and I see,
A monster staring back at me,
Words like poison,
Causing pain,
The answer to me now is plain,
Silence is safety,
It can't get out,
Causing pain much like a drought,
But here it is,
the cleansing rain,
Simply guard,
Do not speak or risk the pain again..
